1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide and information generated through your use of the Service, including:
- Account information: name, email address, and credentials you provide at registration.
- Usage data: details about your APIs, deployments, resource consumption, and platform activity.
- Content: the application code, files, and data you upload to run on the Service.
- Technical data: IP addresses, device and browser information, and diagnostic logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Authenticate your account and secure your data.
- Provision compute resources and run your deployed applications.
- Monitor performance, debug issues, and prevent abuse.
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, and important service updates.
3. Who Can Access Your Data
Your data is treated as confidential. As a multi-tenant platform, however, certain authorized personnel require access to operate and support the Service.
Access by PyCloud administrators: Your user data — including account details, uploaded content, and usage information — is accessible to the administrators of PyCloud for the purposes of operating, securing, and supporting the Service (for example, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and compliance).
Not accessible to other users: Your data is isolated on a per-account basis and is not accessible to other users of PyCloud. Other users cannot view your code, your APIs, your account information, or your stored data.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
PyCloud relies on third-party cloud infrastructure to host and run the Service. As a result:
Access by the third-party cloud service provider: Your user data — including the code you deploy and the data it processes — is also accessible to the third-party cloud service provider that supplies the underlying compute, storage, and networking infrastructure on which PyCloud operates. This access is necessary to host, run, and deliver the Service to you.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only where required to operate the Service (such as with the infrastructure provider described above), to comply with legal obligations, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of the Service and its users.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and keep the Service secure. These technologies are necessary for the Service to function and are not used for advertising purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, or it is terminated, we will remove or anonymize your personal data in accordance with our operational and legal requirements, subject to backups and any retention obligations.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support channels available on the PyCloud platform.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will endeavor to provide notice (for example, by updating this page or via email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us through the support channels available on the PyCloud platform.
